Print works that “mark time” with the evolution of culture

Absolute perfection is the minimum requirement when the task in hand is the printing of the vocabulary of the Italian language, in short ‘the book of books’, a primary source for scholars of the language, entries with which they’ll agree or agree to disagree, but to which everyone – whether students or not – relies on.

We purposefully return to the profound meaning that printing represented, at the dawn of this ancient profession, that of the mission of spreading culture. From Manuzio to the present day, printing is still part of that privileged supply chain of professionals who produce works of extraordinary impact in the dissemination of knowledge.

The Institute of the Italian Encyclopaedia, Treccani, has entrusted Tecnostampa from Loreto with the lithographic production of the volumes “The New Treccani”, “Neologisms: New Newspaper Language (2008-2018)” and “Thesaurus”.

The works were presented last December in Rome as part of the National Fair of small and medium publishers, “More Books, More Freedom”. In addition to the chief editors of the three works, Massimo Bray, Claudio Marazzini, Luca Serianni and Paolo Di Paolo also took part in the presentation.
