10 Jan Solimena “Marvel of the Arts”

The publisher Ugo Bozzi won the award as the best art book of the year for 2018 with this work: Monumental Dissertation, edited by Nicola Spinosa, on the Neapolitan painter and architect much admired by the major European courts of the 18th century.

Sixty years after the first fundamental and pioneering thesis on Francesco Solimena, by Ferdinando Bologna (1958), a new, extraordinary and monumental treatise is published, in two volumes (over one hundred thousand pages and seven kilogrammes in weight), thanks to the typesetters at Tecnostampa.
